
Kapp Named MAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly track and field awards on Wednesday morning, naming Stella Kapp of the University at Buffalo track and field team the MAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week. The announcement marks Kapp's first time earning the honor.
Kapp, a sophomore from KÜsnacht, Switzerland, earns the honor following a win in the high jump at the Houghton December Classic. The sophomore posted a mark of 1.75 meters in the Bulls' season opening meet, tying her indoor personal record that ranks fourth in UB indoor history. Kapp's performance ranks first in the MAC this season and in the NCAA Northeast, also ranking eighth across the entire NCAA.
