2014-15: Jumped 7.10 meters in the long jump and 14.43 meters in the triple jump during the indoor season. In outdoor Ashby jumped 7.49 meters in the long jump and 13.67 meters in the triple jump.
2013-14: Ashby tallied indoor marks of 7.17 meters in the long jump and 13.07 meters in the triple jump as a sophomore...outdoors he had a season-best 7.00-meter performance in the long.
2012-13: Recorded the longest jump of his career (7.45m) at the Big Red Invitational...recorded his best 60m dash time of 7.49 seconds at the EMU Triangular...set a career-best triple jump of 45-2.25 (13.77m) at the SPIRE Midwest Open...his best 100m dash time of 11.52 was recorded at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational.
High School: Earned four letters and captained two seasons at Weedsport High School for coach Roger Jordan. Won the triple jump at the 2011 New York State Outdoor Championships. Finished fourth in the long jump at the 2012 state outdoor meet. Also lettered in football and basketball for the Warriors, earning all-star recognitions in both sports.
Personal: Born March 16, 1994. Son of Jeff and Karen Ashby. Has one brother (Sean). Favorite athletes include football’s Victor Cruz and basketball’s Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett. Hobbies include weightlifting and going to concerts. Undecided on a major.
