2014-15: Hit season-best parks of 17.43m in the indoor shot put, 18.15m in the outdoor shot put, and 47.06m in the discus throw.
High School: Attended Williamsville South High School and threw for coach Azure Mucitelli. Patterson was a three-year captain for the Billies, went undefeated in the shot put his senior season until the state championships, set school, Clarence Classic Meet, ECIC Meet and Indoor Section 6 Meet records, named a high school all-American, 2013 indoor state champion, and 2014 indoor and outdoor Section 6 titilist. Also played football.
Personal: Born April 27, 1996, son of Altimiz and Devorah Patterson, and has one sister, Joita. Majoring in accounting, enjoys powerlifting and movies, lists his favorite things about UB as the weight room and Coach Garnham, his greatest athletic influence is Paul Childress, dreams to break UB and collegiate school records, and describes oneself as determined, shy and hungry. If he could travel anywhere in the world, he''d go to Spain.
