2012-13: Set a season best in the 200 freestyle at the MAC Championships with a time of 1:53.30. Finished fourth in 50 freestyle against Army with a season-best time of 25:15.
2011-12: Helped the Bulls to a school record in the 800 freestyle relay (7:27.06) as the squad finished sixth at the MAC Championships. Set season-bests in her three races at the MAC Championship, finishing 24th in the 200 freestyle (1:53.91), 32nd in the 100 freestyle (52.81) and 33rd in the 50 freestyle (24.30).
High School: Earned four letters and captained one season at Liverpool High School for coach Zac Mekker. Finished fifth in the 100 freestyle at the 2010 New York State Championships. Section III champion in the 100 and 200 freestyles. Earned first-team All-Central New York. Set sprint freestyle records in the 50, 100 and 200 distances for the Warriors. Also a member of the Liverpool Jets club program.
Personal: Born April 28, 1993. Daughter of Phil and Dina Evangelista. Has one brother (P.J.) and one sister (Megan). Favorite athletes include Sidney Crosby and Ryan Lochte. Favorite food is macaroni and cheese. Favorite TV show is Jersey Shore. Majoring in political science and would like to become a criminal attorney.
