Junior (2015-16): Placed 1st in 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:51.37 in the Western New York Invitational… 1st place in 200 Medley Relay against Niagara, clocking in at 1:51.40… Personal-best 1:04.43 in 100 Breast at MAC Championships… Competed in 200 Breast at MAC Championships… Academic All-MAC.
Sophomore (2014-15): Participated in freestyle, breaststroke, and individual medley events... Posted her season-best against Niagara with a time of 26.43 in the 50 meter freestyle portion of the 200 medley relay... At the MAC Championships, Czyrka achieved season-best times in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 200 IM with times of, 1:06.27, 2:17.42, and 2:11.02, respectively.
Freshman (2013-14): Had her top time in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.42) against Toledo... Finished fourth in the 200 breaststroke at the Cleveland State Invite with a season-best time of 2:18.16... Also posted a season-best time in the 400 IM (4:35.70) to win the B final at the Cleveland State Invite.
High School: A four-year letterwinner for head coach Todd Brunty at Saline High School... Set the school record in the 100 Breaststroke and the 200 Medley Relay (also a state record)... Team twice won the State Championship... Also swam for Club Wolverine where she was a Junior National Qualifier.
Personal: Daughter of John and Barb... Favorite food is anything BBQ... Chose UB because of the good balance of family in athletics with other teams and academics... Once met Michael Phelps.
