2023-24: Went 12-9 in singles action, primarily at the fifth and sixth positions… recorded an 8-1 doubles mark, including a perfect 4-0 record with Laura Koralnik.
2022-23: Set a new career-high with an 18-7 singles record, including a dominant 11-6 record at sixth singles… also went a perfect 5-0 at fifth singles… named MAC Player of the Week on March 9… went 8-5 in doubles action, also a new career-best win total, with partner Lolina Schietekat Sedas… named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.
2021-22: Was 14-9 in singles action including going 9-5 at sixth singles…also spent time at fourth and fifth singles…was 4-1 in doubles action with partner Gabriella Akopyan.
2020-21: Was 6-3 in singles action all at the sixth position…appeared and won one doubles match in the second position.
Prior To UB: Hails from Pereira, Columbia where she has reached an ITF singles ranking as high as #795…in doubles action she has ranked as high as 1302 by the WTA…once faced Camila Osorio, who won the Girls Division at the 2019 U.S. Open, taking four games in a 6-2, 6-2 loss.
Personal: Born February 2, 2002…daughter of Jose Carvajal and Josefina Torres…has two brothers (Jose & Juan)…is hoping to be Director of Communications for a major corporation after graduation…enjoys painting, reading, and trying new restaurants…chose UB because of the bond between the coaches and the team as well as the prestige of the university.
