Women’s Soccer Adds Pitt Transfer Maya Bright

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo women's soccer head coach Shawn Burke announced the signing of Pittsburgh transfer Maya Bright on Tuesday.
"Maya is an explosive and dangerous attacker," said Burke. "She has the ability to take over games and will be great compliment to our attacking group."
Bright, a 5'3 forward from Philadelphia, PA, comes to Buffalo after one season at the University of Pittsburg in which she appeared in three games as a freshman. Before college, she had a standout career at Episcopal Academy where she was a three-time First Team All-InterAC selection and a two-time First Team All-Delaware Country honoree. She was named First Team All-Main Line in 2022 and 2023 after leading Episcopal Academy to a PAISAA state championship and InterAC championship in 2023 and was also named First Team All-Southeastern PA as a junior.
