Bulls Host Toledo on Saturday

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team will host the Toledo Rockets on Saturday afternoon. The game will tip-off at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN+ with Paul Peck and Tony Watson on the call. Josh Whetzel and Bob Gaughan can be heard on the Varsity Network App or on Buffalo 1520/Rochester 1280.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bulls are coming off a tough 73-69 road loss to the Central Michigan Chippewas on Tuesday evening. Bryson Wilson had a career game against the Chippewas. Wilson scored 16 first half points to tie his previous career high against Ball State as he finished with 22 on the night. He was 6-for-13 from the floor, including 2 threes and a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. He added 2 assists, 2 steals and a block. Ryan Sabol scored 11 points as Anquan Boldin Jr. finished with 10 points.

ABOUT THE SERIES
This will be the 38th all-time meeting between the Bulls and Rockets. Toledo leads the all-time series, 22-15. In conference play, the Rockets hold a 20-12 lead. Buffalo Head Coach George Halcovage III is 0-3 against Toledo as Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk is 12-10 against the Bulls including a meeting from the 2009-10 season when he was at the helm at Green Bay.

The Bulls and Rockets last faced each other on Feb. 4^th where Toledo came out with the 87-74 home victory. Tyson Dunn led the Bulls with 19 points and 6 assists. He finished with 3 made threes on the night. Freshman Tim Oboh set career-high marks in points (16) and rebounds (7). Noah Batchelor made 3 threes to go with his 13 points. Bryson Wilson rounded out the double-digit scorers for the Bulls with 12 points. Ryan Sabol grabbed a career and game-high 8 boards.

The Bulls are 226-243 (.484) all-time in MAC games. In home MAC games, the Bulls are 135-99 (.584).

• Buffalo's game on Saturday against Toledo will mark the program's 2,500^thgame. Buffalo is 1,289-1,210 all-time as the first season of UB basketball dates back to the 1915-16 season.

• Noah Batchelor is tied for 11^th in rebounds per game in MAC play with 6.13. Batchelor recorded 10 rebounds last Saturday at Ball State. He's just one of 13 players this season in the MAC to have 2+ games with 10+ rebounds.

• This season, Ryan Sabol has made at least 3 three-pointers in 15 of the 28 games. In his career, he has made 137 three-pointers. He's moving up the program's all-time three-pointers made list as he tied Rodney Pierce for eighth all-time after making 3 three-pointers at Central Michigan on Tuesday evening.
