Bulls Travel to Ball State for Saturday Afternoon Contest

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team will travel to Muncie, Ind. for a Saturday afternoon game against the Ball State Cardinals. The game will tip-off at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN+. Josh Whetzel can be heard on Buffalo 1520/Rochester 1280 or on the Varsity Network App.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bulls are coming off a 97-64 loss to the Western Michigan Broncos on Tuesday evening. Freshman Brayden Jackson led the Bulls in scoring with 14 points in just over 13-minutes of game action. Kavon Bradford recorded 4 assists and 4 steals to go with his 7 points. Tim Oboh scored 9 points and grabbed 5 boards as he added a block. Frederiks Meinarts scored 7 points.

ABOUT THE SERIES
This will be the 41st all-time meeting between the Bulls and Cardinals. Buffalo leads the all-time series, 22-18 (.550). In conference play, the Bulls hold an 18-17 (.514) lead. Buffalo Head Coach George Halcovage III is 0-2 against Ball State as Head Coach Michael Lewis is 2-1 against the Bulls.

The Bulls are 226-241 (.484) all-time in MAC games. In road MAC games, the Bulls are 91-143 (.386).

The Bulls have won their last three games at Worthen Arena since Feb. 2, 2021. A win would give them their longest win streak at Worthen Arena.

• After just 57 games played, Ryan Sabol is tied for 72nd in Buffalo's all-time scorers list with 639 points. He has scored a team-high 388 points on the season. He's one of the best scorers in the conference as his 14.9 points per game is 10th in the MAC.

• Tyson Dunn is up to 141 assists on the season. He is nearing the all-time assist leaders list in Buffalo history as he needs 12 assists to tie Shannon Evans (2014-15) and Jarod Oldham (2013-14) for most assists in a single season. He's 35th in the country and first in the MAC in total assists. His 5.4 assists per game is 39th in all of college basketball and the best mark in the MAC.

• The Bulls are 6-0 on the season when they score at least 80 points.
