Bulls Travel to Purdue for a Pair of Saturday Duals

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Purdue. The Bulls will take on the host Boilermakers, ranked 28th in the country, at 10 am followed by a dual with American at noon.
Buffalo is 0-1 in duals on the season as is coming off a loss to 21st-ranked Pittsburgh last Saturday. The Bulls got wins by Sam Ewing at 149 and Kaleb Burgess at 157.
Purdue has eight projected starters in the national rankings, led by Joey Blaze who ranks third at 165.
This will be the fifth meeting between the programs with the Boilermakers winning the previous four, including a 45-0 victory over the Bulls at Alumni Arena last season.
American is 0-1 on the year after falling to #21 West Virginia, 32-6, last Saturday. The Bulls lead the all-time series, 5-1. However, the Eagles took last year's contest, 25-13, at American last season.
