BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo track and field program announced the signing of four athletes as a part of their 2026 signing class on Wednesday. The class currently features four athletes from Western New York, including triplet brothers.
Caleb, Evan and Gage Feider come to UB from Alden High School. The brothers will all compete as distance runners and major in engineering. At the 2025 Section VI Cross Country Championships, the Feider's all posted top five finishes, with Evan in second (15:20.36), Gage in third (15:22.48) and Caleb in fourth (15:22.65). The brothers helped Alden to a third-place finish among the 21 schools that competed.
"Caleb, Evan, and Gage are each tremendously talented student-athletes," said Program Director and Head Coach Vicki Mitchell. "Their combination of academic excellence and incredible endurance for distance events and cross country will help our team to have success in the future."
"We're thrilled to welcome Caleb, Evan and Gage to UB next fall," Assistant Coach Tyler Scheving added. "We're proud to keep these exceptional young men in Buffalo and to support their growth on and off the track."
Beckham Taylor comes to UB from Pittsford Sutherland High School. The Western New York local will compete in the high jump for the Bulls. Taylor had a successful outdoor campaign in the event in the spring, becoming the Monroe County High School high jump champion, followed by a first-place finish at the Section V State Qualifier and a seventh-place finish at the New York State Championships. Taylor also competed at the 2025 New Balance Nationals Outdoor.
"We are looking forward to bringing in Beckham," said Assistant Coach Spencer Cameron-Pressley. "He's a true competitor and a great young talent in the men's high jump."
