Bulls Struggle Against MAC Leading Akron Zips

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team (6-12, 1-5 MAC) couldn't get by the top team in the Mid-American Conference in the Akron Zips (13-5, 6-0 MAC) on Tuesday evening. The Zips came away with a 90-58 road victory.
Ryan Sabol led the Bulls with 15 points as he buried a game-high 5 three-pointers. This was the third time this season and sixth time in his career that he made at least 5 threes. Noah Batchelor led the Bulls with 5 boards and 2 steals as he tallied 8 points. Tyson Dunn had a game-high 5 assists.
On the defensive end, both Frederiks Meinarts and Ben Michaels had 2 blocks. In limited game action, Brayden Jackson and Sam Akot both recorded 2 steals.
The Bulls are back in action on Saturday, Jan. 25th as they travel to Eastern Michigan (9-9, 3-3 MAC) on Saturday afternoon. The game will tip-off at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
