
Bulls Drop Tight Affair To Towson, 4-3

PITTSBURGH, PA – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team lost a tough 4-3 contest to Towson on Saturday afternoon as the two teams met up in Pittsburgh, PA. The loss snapped a three-match winning streak for the Bulls.
UB took the doubles point yet again beginning with a win at two as Chantal Martinez Blanco and Anna Savchenko won their match, 6-2. UB clinched the point at one as Tanja Stojanovska and Margarita Kotok won, 6-3.
Towson took four of the six contests in singles to come back for the victory. Stojanovska won at two as she came away with a 6-3, 6-3 straight sets victory, while freshman Emel Abibula won at five, 6-1, 6-7 (6), 6-3.
The Bulls will host St. Francis (PA) on Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm.
