What They Are Saying
- Head coach Shawn Burke: "I thought the girls played really disciplined, organized and showed a lot of character today against the #6 team in the country. We were up to the task today, and it's hard not to measure it against last year's performance in which we literally had just one opportunity to score and this year we had six or seven. We shocked a lot of people today with our performance but it's still about the process and hopefully they bought into that and we can impose our will on the teams over the next few games."
Player Of The Match
Following the match, Meghan Simmons was named Player of the Match after entering the game off the bench in the first half and playing great defensively on the backline for the Bulls.
- Hofstra - Julia Benati
