WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The University at Buffalo men's and women's track and field teams opened the outdoor season with seven first-place and five second-place finishes at the Wake Forest Open. There was no team scoring in the meet as the Bulls established three school records.
Miles Lewis won a pair of sprint events for the UB men, including breaking the 100-meter dash mark. Lewis took the 100-meter dash in 10.37 seconds, lowering his school mark of 10.48 set last season. He then followed with a win in the 200-meters in 21.30 seconds.
