"I am happy for our team that we were able to go 3-0 and win the tournament," said head coach Todd Kress. "I thought yesterday we were a little sporadic and today we were a lot more efficient. We played better defense today and our middles played very well. Overall it looked a lot cleaner and it was nice that we were able to get everyone out there seeing game action. We know there is still work to be done and we will get back to practice to get ourselves ready for Syracuse on Tuesday."
With the win UB improves to 6-1 on the season, their best seven-match record to start a year since 1990.
UB returns to action on Tuesday evening when they head to Syracuse to face the Orange. The match is set to begin at 7:00 pm.
