
Volleyball Announces Complete 2026 Schedule

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo in coordination with the Mid-American Conference announced their 2026 campaign on Wednesday afternoon. In total, the Bulls will play 27 regular season matches. Buffalo will host 11 matches on the season, three of which will be part of the Buffalo/Canisius Invitational along with eight MAC matches at Broadview Arena.
The Bulls will host Colgate and Niagara in exhibition on August 15th and 22nd, respectfully.
The regular season will begin on Friday, Aug. 28th as the Bulls will travel to St. Louis for the Billiken Invitational. They'll open the season against the UIC Flames and the Saint Louis Billikens on the 28th. The following day, they'll battle the Lindenwood Lions.
The following week, the Bulls will host the Canisius Golden Griffins on Wednesday, Sept. 2nd for the first match of the Buffalo/Canisius Invitational. They'll then host the UMBC Retrievers on the 4th and the Dartmouth Big Green on the 5th.
They will hit the road as they head to Charlotte, N.C. for the Queens Fall Classic. On Sept. 11th, they'll open the weekend against the Presbyterian Blue Hose. In the same day, they will face the home Queens University of Charlotte Royals. The weekend will close against the UT-Chattanooga Mocs on Saturday, Sept. 12th.
Their final non-conference trip will be in the State of New York as they'll head down the I-90 East to Syracuse. On Saturday, Sept. 19th, they'll face the FDU Knights. Their final non-conference match of the regular season will be against the Syracuse Orange on Sunday, Sept. 20th.
Mid-American Conference play will begin on Friday, Sept. 25th as the Bulls will open at home against the Kent State Golden Flashes. On Sunday, Sept. 27th, they'll host the Toledo Rockets.
To open the month of October, Buffalo will travel to Oxford, Ohio for a pair of matches against the Miami RedHawks. The matches are set for the 1st and 2nd of the month.
The Bulls will return to Broadview Arena for three of their next four matches beginning with the Eastern Michigan Eagles (Oct. 9th – 10th). After hitting the road for one match against the Akron Zips on Oct. 13th, the Bulls will welcome the Bowling Green Falcons for a single match on Friday, Oct. 16th.
For the next two weekends, they'll stay in the State of Michigan for a weekend series against the Western Michigan Broncos (Oct. 23rd – 24th) and the Central Michigan Chippewas (Oct. 30th – 31st).
Buffalo will host three of the final four matches of the season with a pair of matches against the reigning MAC regular season champion Ball State Cardinals (Nov. 6th – 7th). Their final home game of the season will be against the Akron Zips on Tuesday, Nov. 10th. The Bulls will close the regular season in Athens, Ohio against the Ohio Bobcats on Friday, Nov. 13th.
The Mid-American Conference Tournament will be at Worthen Arena in Muncie, Ind. on Nov. 20th - 22nd.
