2019: Played in all 119 sets as she was named a first-team All-MAC selection…led the Bulls in kills with 370, while adding 122 digs…notched double figures in kills 19 times during the season…had 14 kills against Colgate (9/1)…recorded 20 kills and hit .410 at North Dakota State (9/14) and notched her first double-double with 15 kills and 10 digs against Akron (9/26)..finished with 13 kills and a season-high three service aces against Northern Illinois (10/19)…recorded back-to-back 20-kill performances against Central Michigan (10/26) and Akron (10/31)…had a season-best 24 kills on senior day against Miami (OH) (11/9) and added 23 kills in the regular season finale at Kent State (11/16).
2018: Saw action in 110 sets, recording 217 kills, which was fourth on the team….had a season-high 17 kills in a five set win over St. John’s (9/1), one of 11 performances on the year with doubles figures in kills…ended the year with 10 or more kills in five of the final six matches, including the last four…had 16 kills and just two errors in a three-set win over Ohio (11/3)…hit .450 with 10 kills and just one error in a win at Western Michigan (10/12)…added 79 digs on the year and 42 total blocks, including a career-best six blocks against Northwestern (9/7).
2017: Saw action in 43 sets, recording 53 kills and 18 total blocks…had 11 kills against Appalachian State (9/16), while she added eight kills and just one errors as she hit .583 against Mercer (9/15)…added seven kills and two errors in a win over Rutgers (9/2)…had at least two blocks on eight different occasions, including a season-high three blocks against Rutgers (9/2).
2016: Played in 74 sets during her first season with the Bulls…twice recorded double figures in kills as she had a career-high 12 against Central Michigan (10/21)…added 10 kills at Western Michigan (10/15)…finished with a career-high four total blocks against Central Michigan (10/21).
High School: Earned three letters for head coach Jharred Tulloch at Thomas A. Edison High School...helped her team to a 12-4 record as a senior and was named first-team All-Conference and All-Region...she also competed in track in high school where she earned All-State, All-Region and All-Conference honors... played her club volleyball for the Evolution Volleyball Club, NOVA Volleyball Club and the Arlington Elite Volleyball Club.
Personal: Born July 21, 1998...daughter of Derrek and Annette Sanks...has three brothers (Derrek, Jonathan, Aaron)...also enjoys basketball and football...favorite food is nachos..favorite music is hip-hop and rap...chose UB because of the volleyball, the academics and the great food...if she could visit anywhere in the world it would be Paris.
