High School Highlights: Qualified for Indoor 2020 New Balance Nationals in the 4x200m.

Parents are Robertine King & Ishmael Essien; siblings are Idem (23), Nathan (18), Lauren (11). I chose UB because of it being a academic university and the community is second to none.
I am inspired by my parents because of their incredible work ethic. Favorite Athlete is LeBron James: he has a very humbling and inspiring road to success, incredible work ethic on and off the court, as well as just being an overall good person. In free time likes looking at cars……. Favorite TV show is Adventure Time, and favorite food to eat is Pizza!
200m: 22.64, 400m: 50.48
College Highlights:
- 2021 – 2022: Placed 10th at the Indoor MAC Championships 400m, 4th place team in the 4 x 400m relay. Outdoor season competed in 5 meets for the Bulls, set personal best in the 200m of 22.64.
- 2022 - 2023: Ran personal best 400m time at the Spire Indoor Games.
