Bio
2022-23: Went 9-9 in singles action mostly at fifth and sixth singles…had a solid doubles season going 12-6 overall… went 7-5 with partner Daniils Sniaders… also went 3-0 with partner Simon Wibler and 2-1 with Ryan Thompson.
2021-22: Was 9-15 in singles action mostly at fifth and sixth singles…had a very successful doubles season going 14-4 overall… went 12-3 with partner Finn Macnamara, including an 8-1 record at third doubles…also went 3-1 with partner Cheng Tang.
2020-21: Was 4-5 in singles action including a 3-3 record at sixth singles…also spent time at fifth singles…went 3-1 in doubles action including a 2-1 record at second doubles and won one match at third doubles, all with partner Bjoern Petersen.
2019-20: Went 3-3 in singles competing in the fall season for the Bulls…played at both the Binghamton Invitational and the MAC Fall Invite…went 6-2 in doubles action.
Prior To UB: Earned six letters and captained for five seasons for head coach John Lemar at North Tonawanda High School…went 14-0 as a senior and finished his career a perfect 84-0 in league play…won the Section VI championship in both 2018 and 2019, making it the quarterfinals of the New York State championships in both of those seasons.
Personal: Born November 23, 2001…son of Ronald and Jill Hastings…has one sister, Erin…enjoys fishing and hunting…favorite foods are tacos and pizza…chose UB because of how close it was to home.
