Bulls Come Away Victorious at Navy Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team capped off a solid weekend at the Navy Invitational with a doubles championship and three singles titles.

To start the day in doubles action, Deanne Choo and Sarah Hartel defeated Villanova's Olivia Corcoran and Jenna Stevens 6-2 to win the championship in Flight B.

In singles action, it was an all-UB final in Flight A, as Esmee Andresen defeated teammate Maria Glowacka 3-6, 6-4, 10-5 in a three-set thriller. Hartel continued her stellar play, winning Flight B with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Villanova's Lauren Monti and in the second all-UB final of the day in Flight C, Sofia Zagumennova earned a hard-fought victory over Choo 6-4, 3-6, 12-10.
