Women’s Tennis Garners ITA All-Academic Honors

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's tennis team was honored for its academic success as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced UB as one of its All-Academic Teams on Monday. In addition, seven Bulls earned Scholar Athlete honors.
To be a scholar-athlete, student-athletes must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA for the previous academic year. Buffalo's selections are Esmee Andresen, Blanca Berges, Deanne Choo, Maria Glowacka, Sarah Hartel, Liv Roestel and Sofia Zagumennova.
As a team, the Bulls earned All-Academic honors with a team GPA of 3.796.
In 2026, 1,501 Division I women's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and 231 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
