High School: Earned four letters and captained one season for head coaches Josh Dannecker and Brittany Bonnetto at Orchard Park High School…went 19-6 during her senior year as she batted .567 from the plate with 49 runs batted in, 12 doubles, 10 triples and eight home runs…was part of the first Orchard Park girls team to win a state title when they won the 2015 NYSPHSAA Class AA State Championship…was named the Class AA New York State Player of the Year…played club softball for the New Era Diamonds, the Amherst Lightning and the T.C. Tremors.
Personal: Born July 22, 1997…daughter of George and Amy Weimer…has three brothers (Jon, Ben, Jake)…her grandfather Donald M. Hermann is in the WNY Softball Hall of Fame…favorite athletes are Lauren Chamberlain, Madison Shipman, Raven Chavanne, and Lauren Gibson…favorite movie is Remember the Titans…chose UB because of the Occupational Therapy program and its proximity to home…lists her greatest athletic experiences as winning the NSA World Series and the Class AA State Championship…would like to set the batting average and home runs records while at UB…chose her uniform number because it was her dad’s number for all of his sports teams and it consider a “family lucky number.”
