2016: Played in 20 games recording her first career hit against Northern Iowa (3/5)...also recorded a hit and a run batted in against Toledo (3/27)...drove in a run against Binghamton (4/27).
Previous School: Spent her sophomore season at Daytona State under head coach Sabrina Manhart where she was named to the FCSAA All-Academic Team and also earned the Florida State Mid-Conference Scholar-Athlete Award. Spent her freshman season at Florida Gulf Coast University.
High School: Played for head coach John Pirone at The Ursuline School…went 19-3 overall and 9-1 in league play during her senior season…batted .368 with 18 runs scored...helped her team win a NYSCHS Championship in 2010 and was named New York State Section 1 All-Section and All-League in 2012-13…played her club softball for The Junction Girls.
Personal: Born April 6, 1995…daughter of Henry Savinon and Gloria Santiago…favorite music is Spanish, Pop, R&B and Reggae…chose UB because of the strong academics at the school…if she had a million dollars, she would give it back to the community…if she could visit anywhere in the world, it would be Rio, Brazil.
