Manoela Forlin Selected to Preseason All-MAC List, MAC Announces Preseason Coaches Poll

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American announced the 2025 preseason coaches' poll and All-MAC honorees on Monday morning. Headlining the announcement for UB was junior Manoela Forlin earning Preseason All-MAC Team honors. As a team, the Bulls were selected fifth in the MAC with 77 points. The Bulls, however, received their first MAC Tournament Champion vote in program history. The poll was voted on by the 12 head coaches in the league.
Forlin took home All-MAC Freshman Team honors in Buffalo's historic 2023 season. She finished the 2024 campaign with the second-most kills on the team with 302. TO go with her kill total, she added 28 aces, 148 digs, 33 blocks and 350.0 points. Forlin averaged 3.02 kills, 1.48 digs, 0.33 blocks and 0.28 aces per set.
The Bulls begin the 2025 season on Friday, Aug. 29 as they host the Buffalo Invite presented by UB Dental. The team will open the season against Liberty, Marist and Rutgers.
