BUFFALO, N.Y. – University at Buffalo women's volleyball Head Coach Scott Smith announced the addition of transfer middle blocker Jordyn Romano to the 2025 roster.
Jordyn Romano // Junior // Middle Blocker // Fort Lewis/Mt. San Antonio College // Fort Collins, Colo.
The Colorado native spent the 2024 season at Mt. San Antonio College where she helped the Mounties to a 20-8 record, the program's most wins since 2021. She earned First-Team All-Conference honors as well as SoCal All-Region Team honors as she led the team with 227 kills and 89 blocks. Romano averaged 2.44 kills and 0.96 blocks per set last season as she totaled 289.0 points.
"Jordyn is an exciting transfer coming in this fall," stated Head Coach Scott Smith. "She is an explosive attacker with a fast arm, and I expect her to make an immediate impact offensively from the middle. She has gained a great deal of strength and ball control from playing a season of beach volleyball and she has a great perspective coming into our program after her previous two stops. Jordyn has worked incredibly hard to earn her place and I look forward to seeing her compete!"
