Bulls Host Kent State on National TV on Friday

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team (5-9, 0-2 MAC) will host the Kent State Golden Flashes (10-4, 1-1 MAC) on Friday evening. Tip-off will be at 6 p.m. on CBSSN with Alex Del Barrio and BJ Taylor on the call. Josh Whetzel and Bob Gaughan will be on the radio call on the Varsity Network or on the radio on Buffalo 1520/Rochester 1280.
LAST TIME OUT
In their last game on Tuesday, the Bulls fell to the MAC preseason favorite Ohio Bobcats, 88-79. Tyson Dunn led the team with 21 points as he knocked down a career-high 5 three-pointers. Both Ben Michaels and Ryan Sabol each scored 15 points. Anquan Boldin Jr. added 12 points in the loss.
Ben Michaels played a career-high 34:41 on Tuesday evening that led to a career-high 15 points.
Tuesday evening marked the third time this season that Tyson Dunn led the team in points (21), rebounds (5) and assists (8) in a game this season. He also did so against Old Dominion (Nov. 4th – 24 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists) and Morgan State (Nov. 22nd - 22 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists). With his 4 steals against Ohio, it was the second time this year he led the team in points, rebounds, assists and steals.

This will be the 62nd all-time meeting between the Bulls and Golden Flashes. Kent State leads the all-time series, 39-22. In conference play, the Golden Flashes hold a 32-20 lead. Buffalo Head Coach George Halcovage III is 0-2 against Kent State as Head Coach Rob Senderoff is 14-15 against the Bulls.
