BUFFALO, N.Y. – A two-RBI double in the first inning by Abbey Nagel gave the University at Buffalo softball team (13-24, 5-11 MAC) a 2-1 win in game two of the doubleheader against the Kent State Golden Flashes (20-18, 6-10 MAC). The Golden Flashes won game one, 6-1.
In the first game, Alexis Lucyshyn had a no-hitter into the fifth inning. After a leadoff walk in the top of the first inning, Alexis Lucyshyn proceeded to strikeout the next three batters to end the inning. The Bulls will head to DeKalb, Ill. to face the Northern Illinois Huskies for a weekend series.
