Mandy Leigh Named MAC East Setter of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced their weekly volleyball honors on Monday afternoon. Mandy Leigh was named MAC East Setter of the Week.

Over the weekend, the Bulls improved to a MAC East leading 12-3 and 22-5 overall on the season. The team secured their spot in the MAC Tournament and currently sit as the two-seed.

Mandy Leigh had another outstanding weekend for the Bulls against the Miami RedHawks. Against the RedHawks, she totaled 79 assists, good for 13.17 assists per set. Leigh had 79 of the Bulls' 86 assists on the weekend. She added three kills, three aces, eight digs, one block, and 6.5 points on the weekend.

This marks Leigh's eighth weekly honor of the season and a program record 14^th in her career. Bulls have taken home at least one weekly award over the last 10 weeks and are up to 13 this season.

The Bulls are back in action on Friday as they'll travel to Bowling Green for a weekend series. The regular season will conclude on Wednesday, Nov. 15 as UB will play at Akron.
