Women’s Soccer Adds Alex Bova

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo women's soccer head coach Shawn Burke has announced the addition of Alex Bova to Bulls' 2024 roster.
Bova comes to Buffalo from Pittsford, NY where she currently plays for Pittsford Sutherland High School. She is coming off a solid junior season in which she earned Second Team All-County honors after leading her team to the Section V finals and being named to the first team as a freshman. She plays club ball for the Rochester NY FC where she competed at the Region 1 Northeast Regionals, and she was also invited to take part in the GA northeast talent ID event in 2022.
Burke on Bova: "We've gotten to know Alex well through our prospect camps and have watched her grow into a dynamic attacking threat. She will be threat with her pace and 1v1 mentality."
