Wende Earns Women’s Field Athlete of the Week Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Wednesday afternoon this week's track and field athletes of the week. Fifth Year Senior Christina Wende earned Co-MAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week.
Last Saturday at the Cornell Upstate Challenge, Wende won the triple jump by over 4 feet, setting a personal best and MAC leading mark of 12.61m/41'4.5". Her mark also ties for the 3rd best in UB program history.
This is Wende's second MAC Athlete of the Week honor.

The Bulls are back in action on Friday, Jan. 27 and Saturday, Jan. 28 as the team travels to Penn State University for the Penn State National Open.
