Volleyball Selected to Finish Fourth in MAC East

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University at Buffalo women's volleyball team was picked to finish in fourth place in the MAC East, the Mid-American Conference announced on Wednesday afternoon. The poll was voted on by the 12 head coaches in the league.
Defending MAC East Champion Bowling Green was picked to finish first in the MAC East with 11 first place votes. Ohio was picked second, as Kent State was selected third with one first place vote. Buffalo, Miami (OH) and Akron round out the division.
Defending MAC Champion Ball State received all 12 of the first place votes in the MAC West. Western Michigan was picked second. Toledo, Northern Illinois, Central Michigan, and Eastern Michigan completed the West Division.
The Bulls begin the 2022 season on Friday, Aug. 26 as they host the UB Invite. The team will host the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Xavier, and Cleveland State.
