Bulls Set to Travel to Toledo and Ball State

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo women's volleyball team (10-7, 2-3 MAC) will travel to Toledo, Ohio for a clash against the Toledo Rockets (10-5, 3-1 MAC) on Friday, Oct. 7. The team will then face the Ball State Cardinals (10-6, 2-2 MAC) on Saturday, Oct. 8 in Muncie, Ind. Both matchups are set to start at 6 p.m.

The Bulls are fresh off their victory against Northern Illinois (11-3, 4-1 MAC), where they gave the Huskies their first conference loss of the season. In Saturday's victory, the Bulls had 22 kills in the first set and Mandy Leigh finished with 44 assists in the three set match. Her performance last week was noticed as she earned MAC East Setter of the Week honors. This marks the third time this season she's earned this honor.

Toledo split their weekend with Central Michigan as the Rockets won the Saturday match, 3-1. Ball State swept Eastern Michigan last week and will face Akron on Friday night.
