Seven Bulls Earn Spot on Scholar All-America Team

BUFFALO, NY – Seven members of the University at Buffalo women's swimming and diving team were named to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Honorable Mention team. The seven honorees were one shy of the program record.
The Bulls had five swimmers and two diver earn a spot on the Scholar All-America squad for their outstanding work in the classroom and in the pool. The five swimmers that earned a spot on the squad were Brittney Beetcher, Jillian Lawton, Antonia Naccarella, Nicole Roitenberg, and Olivia Sapio, while divers Patricia Arceri and Victoria Franz were also honored.
The award recognizes students who achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and were invited to compete at their respective national championship. Selections were drawn from 209 colleges and universities.
