
Four Bulls Named to CSC Academic All-District Team for Swim & Dive

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Four student-athletes of the University at Buffalo Swimming & Diving team have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for the 2025-26 season, as announced by the organization.
The Bulls awarded the honor are Nicole Aguilar, Presley Dorsett, Elise McCaul and Kaley Ream.
Aguilar posted a perfect 4.0 grade point average through four years in Buffalo as a Biomedical Sciences major. The senior is a three-time Academic All-MAC honoree. Aguilar had a strong showing for the Bulls at Mid-American Conference Championships, competing in the finals or consolation finals of three events and helping the program to four top-five placements in relay races. The senior placed fourth in the 100-yard butterfly field of 29 swimmers with a time of 53.60, ranking fourth in program history. Aguilar also competed in the consolation finals of the 200-yard individual medley (2:02.92) and the 100-yard freestyle (50.00).
Dorsett finished her tenure as a student-athlete at UB with a 3.78 grade point average as a Biological Sciences major. The graduate student is a three-time Academic All-MAC honoree. Dorsett qualified for the three-meter finals at conference championships, placing sixth with a score of 262.50. The graduate student also competed in the consolation finals of the one-meter, taking 10th overall (283.30). Dorsett also qualified for and competed at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships for the fourth time in her career.
McCaul posted a 3.83 grade point average as a Biomedical Sciences major. The senior is now a two-time CSC All-District Team honoree and three-time Academic All-MAC team member. McCaul had a strong showing at MAC Championships for the Bulls, helping the team to a silver medal finish in the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:15.70). The senior also competed in the finals of the 400-yard individual medley (6th, 4:20.96) and the 500-yard freestyle (8th, 4:58.44). McCaul's 400-yard individual medley time of 4:20.96 also ranked ninth in program history. The senior set 10 personal record times in her final season with the Bulls, also taking the eighth spot in program history in the 1,000-yard freestyle at Ohio (10:12.29).
Ream finished her four years at Buffalo with a 3.95 grade point average. The senior is a two-time Academic All-MAC honoree. In 2025-26, Ream competed in all 11 of the Bulls competitions. The senior swam a season-best time in the 50-yard freestyle at MAC Championships (25.46). Ream also set two season best times at the UB Invite, in the 100-yard freestyle (55.68) and the 50-yard butterfly (26.79).
The 2025-2026 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
