Cross Country Readies For 2020 MAC Championships This Saturday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo cross country program will take part in the first MAC Championship of the 2020-21 season on Saturday as the Bulls head to Bowling Green, OH where a league champion will be crowned. The women's 6K race begins at 2pm followed by the men's 8K race at 3pm.

The Bulls had one race this season on Nov. 6 where the men's team defeated Kent State at the Tommy Evans Invitational. UB was led by a strong performance from junior Scott Loforte in that race, who had a personal best time of 24:48. Junior Riley Jones represented the UB women in that race, but for many on the women's side this will be their first competition of the fall.
