KALAMAZOO, MI – The University at Buffalo women's soccer team (7-2-0, 1-1-0 MAC) saw their seven-match winning streak snapped on Sunday afternoon on the road as the Western Michigan Broncos handed the Bulls the 4-2 defeat. The four goals allowed by the Bulls were their most allowed this season.

How It Happened
- After Gurjeena Jandu had a scoring chance in the fifth minute that went over the WMU net, the Broncos responded with their first goal of the match in the seventh minute as Alyssa Burke put home a rebound after a good corner kick from Grace Labadie.
- The Broncos were able to make the score 2-0 in the 17th minute of play as Collen McKay centered a ball to Morgan Otteson who buried her third goal of the season.
- The two teams went back-and-forth over the next couple minutes before Adrianna VanCuyck had a good chance in the 35th minute but her shot went just wide of the Broncos goal.
- In the 38th minute, Gurjeena Jandu and Mairead Martin had back-to-back chances but Hannah Sargent made two big stops to keep the score 2-0 in favor of the home team.
- The Broncos had the final scoring chance of the first half in the 40th minute but Emily Kelly made a nice stop for the Bulls to send the two teams to halftime.
- The Broncos had a quick start to the second half as Grace Labadie drew a foul in the box and buried the penalty kick goal to give the home side the 3-0 lead in the 49th minute.
- In the 60th minute, Gianna Yurchak had a good scoring chance but the WMU keeper made a nice stop.
- The Broncos forced another foul in the box in the 61st minute and Grace Labadie buried her second penalty kick goal of the match, beating Emily Kelly, to make the score 4-0 in favor of the Broncos.
- The Bulls began to put some pressure on and made the score 4-1 in favor of WMU in the 81st minute of play as Andrea Judasz netted her first goal of her career after a pass from Marcy Barberic.
- Buffalo came back quickly and scored their second goal in three minutes as Gurjeena Jandu buried the free kick from the left corner of the box to cut the Broncos lead to 4-2 in the final seven minutes.
- Buffalo wasn't able to generate any other dangerous chances as they were handed the 4-2 loss on Sunday.

- With the loss, the Bulls seven match winning streak in regulation was snapped on Sunday, their longest in school history.
- For the match, both teams finished with 15 shots while the Bulls held the slim 6-4 edge in corner kicks in the loss.
- Freshman Andrea Judasz netted the first goal of her UB career in the loss.
