Elijah Haggard is in his second season as Defensive Analyst and Assistant Recruiting Coordinator. He came to Buffalo from Albany State where he served as defensive run game coordinator, special teams coordinator and defensive line coach last season.Â
Prior to Albany State, he worked at the University of Memphis where he served for two years (2021-2022) as a defensive line graduate assistant. He was part of back-to-back bowl championship teams in both the Hawaii Bowl (2021) and The First Responders Bowl (2022).
Prior to Memphis, he served for one year as a graduate assistant coach at North Alabama working with the linebackers in 2020.
Before, his time at North Alabama he worked for six months as linebacker coach at Avila University.
Prior to Avila, he served as a defensive student assistant coach at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Haggard is a graduate of Tennessee Martin.
