High School: Earned four letters and captained one season for head coach John Senchak at Tuscarora High School...helped lead her team to an 18-9 record as a season where she finished with 451 assists, 97 kills, 10 blocks, 195 digs, while setting her high school record for aces in a season with 54...named first-team all-state, first-team all-conference, first-team all-region, and All-MET Honorable Mention during her senior year, while also being named her team’s Most Valuable Player...spent six years playing club volleyball for a number of clubs including NVVA, Dulles Volleyball, and CHRVA High Performance.
Personal: Born October 19, 1999...daughter of Michael and Mona Marinelli...has one brother (Dominick)...favorite foods are hamburgers and sushi...favorite television show is Grey’s Anatomy...chose UB because of the genuine people and the exercise science program...her greatest athletic influence is her father who played baseball at Salisbury University...lists her dream as playing in the NCAA Tournament...the person she admires most in history is Jackie Robinson...if she could be on any reality show it would be The Amazing Race.
