2014: Played in 107 sets, finishing with a career-best 230 kills and 38 digs...had a career-high 16 kills and just three errors as she hit .406 at Western Michigan (10/17)...had seven matches where she finished in double figures in kills, including 13 kills at Bowling Green (11/1) and at Toledo (11/15)...recorded a season-high 10 total blocks vs. Miami (OH) (9/27).
2013: Played in 105 sets as she finished with 173 kills and 97 total blocks...had a season-high 14 kills at Akron (11/7) and 13 kills in a five-set win over Bowling Green (11/16)...finished with double-figures in kills in six matches, including five of the final eight matches...had a season-best seven blocks at Akron (11/7) and finished with six total blocks four other times.
2012: Missed just one set during her freshman year playing in 103 sets...led the Bulls and was amongst the MAC leaders in blocks, registering 131, including 18 solo blocks...had 10 total blocks against Eastern Kentucky (8/31) and nine total blocks against Oral Roberts (8/25)...recorded at least one block in every match during the season...also finished with 126 kills from the middle, finishing with a season best 10 kills against Miami (9/28)...finished with eight kills three times, including her first career match against Canisius (8/24).
High School: Helped her team to the Class AAA State Title her senior year as her team went 44-7... currently holds the county record for blocks in a game (with 11) and blocks in a season... was named to the All-Star team her senior year and was named All-Area as a junior.. played club volleyball for the Orange Crush Volleyball Club in Atlanta, GA... also earned three letters in basketball, earned MVP honors as the team''s center/power forward.
Personal: Born July 15, 1994... daughter of Wellington and Andrea... has two brothers - Javonte'' and Jamal - and four sisters - Quinyona Franklin, Meryl Lain, Whitney Lain, Marrissa Johnson... plans to major in exercise science with the goal of becoming a doctor of physical therapy... favorite TV shows are Pretty Little Liars, Dance Moms, Family Guy, and CSI: Miami... was also recruited by Pittsburg, North Florida, Wake Forest, Jacksonville, San Diego State, Florida, Tennessee, and Central Michigan... chose UB because of the academics, the coaches and the girls, and because "I wanted to make an impact in the program with my hard work and dedication"... lists winning the state title as her greatest athletic achievement... her grandfather played in the NFL for the Kansas City Chiefs... dream vacation destination is Jamaica.
