Before Buffalo: Gouzelou, a 6-0 guard/forward from Athens, Greece, adds to UB’s international presence as she comes to Buffalo with solid playing experience on the international stage. The youngest Greek player to play in the Euroleague, Gouzelou played the 2022-23 season for Olympiacos Piraeus, who won the A1 regular season championship with a 21-1 overall record. Gouzelou saw action in six games. Prior to that she competed for Ilioupolis in the A2, where they finished in second place with a 15-3 record in Group 1.
