2024-25: Appeared in 37 games, earning a career-best 18 starts, as a senior… Averaged 3.7 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 39% from the floor… Had a breakthrough performance at Eastern Michigan (1/15) in which she scored a career-high 18 points, including career marks for field goals made (5) and free throws made (6), while adding a career-best nine steals… Dished out a career-high four assists in a win over Ohio (1/22)… Scored 12 points on a career-high four three-pointers in a win at Miami (OH) (2/22)… Notched a career-best three blocks against Bowling Green (3/12) in the MAC Tournament quarterfinals… Logged a career-best 38 minutes in a blowout win at Western Michigan (1/29).
2023-24: Appeared in 23 games, earning six starts, as a junior… Averaged 2.0 points, 1.6 rebounds while recording 15 assists and 14 steals in 11 minutes per contest… Scored a career-high 11 points on season-best four made field goals while also pulling down a career-best seven rebounds in a season-high 26 minutes in a win at Ohio (1/31).
2021-23 (St. John's): Appeared in 30 games over two seasons... As a freshman she saw action in nine games, averaging 6.2 minutes, 1.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game before appearing in 21 games as a sophomore.
Before College: Played at John Madejski Academy and for the Reading Rockets, where she recorded a WNBL-high 5.2 steals per contest to earn UK Defensive Player of the Year. Gines proved to be threat on both sides of the ball over the 2020-21 campaign, averaging 14.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. In 2019, Gines played for Aragón's U-16 team, leading her squad to the third position of the league championship before earning all-region MVP. Gines also played four seasons with Stadium Casablanca, helping her team to four-consecutive league championships. In 2018, Gines played for the Spanish national team, helping her squad finish first in the MHL Tournament.
