2017: Made 17 appearances and nine starts in the circle as a sophomore, finishing with a 6.23 ERA... struck out 30 batters across 42.2 innings while recording one complete game... came out of the bullpen and pitched three scoreless innings against Norfolk State (2/26) and struck out a season-high four batters... made her longest start of the season against Colorado State (3/3) as she went 6.0 innings and allowed two runs while striking out two batters... recorded her first career save against Canisius (3/29) as she pitched a scoreless inning in the Bulls 7-6 victory... had five at bats on the season and scored one run.
2016: Started 11 games in the circle and made 23 appearances, finishing with a 4.88 ERA. Had her best game when she struck out 11 in 10 innings against Princeton (2/27)...pitched 9.2 innings against the College of Charleston (3/15) and stuck out eight batters in 3.2 innings against Coast Carolina (3/12)...also served as a pinch runner for the Bulls, stealing three bases and scoring three runs.
High School: Earned four letter and captained two seasons for head coach Randy Brockway at Oneonta High School…only saw action in six games as a senior, but struck out 86 batters in just over 35 innings of work…holds the single-game strikeout record (19) the single-season strikeout record (257) and most career strikeouts (607), which was completed in just over two seasons…also holds offensive career records at Oneonta for steals, hits, runs scored and walks…was named first-team All-State in Class B as a sophomore and junior and The Daily Star Player of the Year…also played soccer and basketball at Oneonta…played her club softball for the TC Tremors.
Personal: Born October 11, 1997…daughter of Melissa Baker…has one sister, Kaitlyn…favorite athletes are Skylar Diggins, Derek Jeter and Steph Curry…favorite television show is Friends…chose UB because she fell in love with the campus and the coaching staff…would like to set the stolen base record and the strikeouts record as a pitcher at UB…if she could visit one place in the world, it would be Alaska.
