2024: Started all 20 games for the Bulls as a sophomore… Part of a standout backline that led the league and ranks in the top 20 nationally in goals against average (.70) save percentage (.848) and shutout percentage (.550)… Assisted on the game-winning goal in a win over St. Bonaventure (8/15)… Scored the game-winning goal, an Olympico, in the win over Canisius (9/4)… Notched an assist on the game-winning goal in a win over Akron (9/19) in the MAC opener… Scored the game-tying goal in the 70th minute against Kent State (10/17)… Assisted on the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute against Ohio in the MAC Tournament quarterfinals (11/7)… Earned Academic All-MAC honors for the second in her career.
2023: Appeared in all 18 games, earning 17 starts… Recorded two assists in MAC wins at Northern Illinois (10/12) and against Toledo (10/19)… helped lead the UB defense to eight clean sheets on the season and a 1.22 goals against average.
Before Buffalo: Galko comes to Buffalo from Ottawa, Ontario. She grew up playing her club soccer for Ottawa TFC and has been brought into Ontario’s NDC program for the 2022-23 season. Galko has also represented Ontario’s provincial team and most recently participated in the Canada Games where she won Gold with Team Ontario. She is coming off a very successful 2021 season in which she led TFC Ottawa to a regular season championship and the Gary Miller Charity Shield gold medal. Galko is currently ranked as FTF’s number one prospect in Canada’s 2023 class. Off the pitch she is a member of the honor roll.
