Bio
Before Buffalo: Andersson, a 5-4 midfielder from Valbo, Sweden, comes to Buffalo after two successful seasons at Temple, where she appeared in 31 games. She started all 16 games as a sophomore, totaling 1370 minutes. She tallied her first career assist on October 1 in a win over LIU. She made an immediate impact as a freshman, earning American Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team honors after starting in 14 of her 15 appearances and totaling 1,232 minutes, the most of any true freshman on the team. Off the pitch she was an Academic All-District selection. She currently plays club for Gefle IF where she won back-to-back district championships and placed fifth at the 2016 Swedish Championship and advanced to the Goeransson Cup three times. She has also played for Sandiviken IF and with the Swedish Elitettan, Sweden’s second highest series for women.
