2013: Had a record-breakingseason as she was named to the All-MAC First Team, the first timeUB had ever placed a player on the first team...won a bronze medalat the World Championship Qualifiers for Team Jamaica...tied for10th in a single season with 400 kills, the most by a UBplayer since 2006...became just the eighth player in school historyto record 20 kills and 20 digs in a single match with 21 kills and20 digs in a five-set win over Akron (10/3)...went over 20 killsseven times during the season, including a career-high 26 kills ina five set loss at Akron (11/7)...finished with 25 kills againstToledo (11/9) and 22 kills against Bowling Green (11/16)...recorded20 kills or more in three of the final five matches...finished withsix double-doubles as she had 17 digs in matches against BowlingGreen (11/11) and Eastern Michigan (10/26).
2012: Played in 84 sets during herfreshman season, finishing with 173 kills...recorded a season-high15 kills against Ball State (10/27), while adding 14 kills againstCentral Michigan (10/19)...had seven matches where she finished indouble figures in kills...recorded her first career double-doubleagainst Ball State (10/27) by adding 10 digs, a single-match highfor her...finished with 44 total blocks, including four againstBowling Green (9/29).
High School: Was an outside hitter for theSinclair Celtics volleyball team... also played basketball atSinclair... played club volleyball for the Toronto DiamondsVolleyball Club, where she is team captain... led the club team towon three gold medals this past season and a bronze medal at theBuffalo Can-Am Tournament... while in the club volleyball circuit,she earned Diamond Awards (2010 and 2011), MVP (2009, 2011),and Provincial Award of Excellence (2010).
Personal: Born March 31, 1995... daughter ofJohn and Sophia... has one brother, Anthony, and one sister,Chantelle... will major in premed, with the goal of continuing onto medical school and become a surgeon... enjoys reading andpoetry... favorite athlete is Sarah Pavan, a Canadianvolleyball player who hails from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada...favorite quote is "Even if you''re on the right track, you''ll getrun over if you just sit there"... volunteered forthe Touchstone Youth Centre and is a member of Youth InAction, an organization that conducts fundraising activities andincreases student awareness on various social issues.... dream as acollege athlete is to become an All American and win a MACchampionship... dream vacation destination is Italy.
