2026: The stout third baseman started all 56 games at the hot corner...Hit .376 with 64 hits...Her 64 hits ranked third on the team and is fourth in a single season in program history...Ripped 16 doubles, the most in 10 seasons by a Bulls, good for the fourth most in a single season in program history, also ranked fifth in the MAC and 47th in the NCAA at the end of the regular season...Led the Bulls with 60 RBIs, good for 35th in the country and second in the MAC...Had a career-high four hits against Miami (OH) (4/3)...Scored four runs against her former school Niagara (3/8)...Drove in a career-high seven RBIs at Toledo (4/24) where she hit a two-run home run and a grand slam...Tallied 101 total bases on the season...Finished with 23 extra base hits with seven home runs...Other home runs came against East Carolina (2/13), Hofstra (3/1), Northern Illinois (3/14), UMass (4/8) and Central Michigan (4/17)...Finished with 63 putouts, 115 assists and a .957 fielding percentage...Earned First-Team All-MAC honors.
Prior to Buffalo: The Lockport native comes to Buffalo after starting in all 41 games for the Niagara Purple Eagles...On the year, she recorded 37 hits including four home runs...Delaney led the team with 27 RBIs, 10 doubles and nine stolen bases...On the basepaths, she stole season-high two bases against UMBC (Feb. 21)...At the dish, Delaney tallied three RBIs against LIU (Mar. 10) and three base knocks against Iona (April 8)...Against Big 4 rival St. Bonaventure, she had a season-high four hits and four RBIs against St. Bonaventure (April 23)...Delaney recorded 11 multi-hit performances on the year...In her collegiate career, she has a .323 batting average and a .427 on base percentage...In her freshman season, she earned All-MAAC Rookie Team and All-MAAC Second Team honors.
During her time at Lockport, in five seasons of varsity softball at Lockport, Delaney hit .557 with 16 home runs, 76 RBI, and 42 stolen bases. She was a four-time All-State selection and an All-WNY selection in 2022.
