Prior to Buffalo: The catcher appeared in 34 games with 29 starts for the Niagara Purple Eagles in her freshman campaign...She tallied a .171 batting average with a total of 13 hits, three of which went for extra bases...Had a career-high two hits against Mount St. Mary's (4/4) and Youngstown State (4/7)...Defensively she threw out two runners on the season against Binghamton (3/6) and Colgate (3/10)...Prior to Niagara, Sheehan was a Second-Team All-State honoree her senior season at Orchard Park...She also took home First-Team All-WNY Large School honors and Section VI ECIC First Team honors...At Orchard Park, she was the Quakers' captain.
