- UB EDI - The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) ensures UB's compliance with policies covering discrimination, harassment, accommodations, equal opportunity and child protection.
- LGBTQ Faculty and Staff Association - The UB LGBTQ Faculty and Staff Association began in 2014. The mission is to contribute to and support a welcoming and inclusive university community for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer faculty and staff through education, networking and advocacy.
- Working Group for Transgender Inclusion - UB has convened a team of faculty and staff to examine policies and practices that will support the full inclusion of our transgender community.
- Office of Inclusive Excellence - The mission of the Office of the Vice Provost for Inclusive Excellence (VPIX) is to promote excellence in all aspects of UB’s operations by facilitating processes that remove barriers to access and advancement on the basis of race, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or veteran status for students, faculty and staff. Excellence—embracing and exhibiting the highest level of quality in research, teaching and service—can be achieved only when diverse perspectives are engaged.
- Intercultural and Diversity Center (IDC) - The Intercultural and Diversity Center (IDC) is committed to supporting all students on campus regardless of an individual's race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, gender identity, pregnancy, gender expression, sexual orientation, predisposing genetic characteristics, marital status, familial status, veteran status, military status, domestic violence victim status, or ex-offender status.
- International Student Services (ISS) - UB has a longstanding tradition of welcoming students, faculty and researchers from around the world. Our international population enriches our community through its knowledge, talents, diligence and diverse perspectives. ISS serves as a resource and advocate for international students at the University at Buffalo along with providing information on government regulations and institutional compliance.
- New International Students - UB has a longstanding tradition of welcoming students, faculty and researchers from around the world. Here we truly embrace the American principles of inclusion for all people regardless of their race, religion or nationality.
- Sexual Harassment Information Advisors (SHIA) provide advice, consultation and referral to employees and students with concerns about an incident or situation. They do not conduct investigations but are avenues of assistance and support. The Division of Athletics has four sexual harassment information advisors:
