Bulls Host Le Moyne and Central Michigan to Start Seven Game Homestand

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo softball team (18-25, 7-11 MAC) finishes the regular season with 10 of their last 13 games at home including the next seven at Nan Harvey Field. Their homestand begins on Wednesday afternoon against the Le Moyne Dolphins (10-24, 7-8 NEC) for a doubleheader starting at 1:30 p.m. The Bulls will then host the Central Michigan Chippewas (20-16, 11-6 MAC) for a three-game series starting Friday at 3 p.m. The series will come to a close on Saturday for a doubleheader at 1 p.m.

Le Moyne enters their doubleheader with a 10-24 overall record and 7-8 in NEC play. Maddie Martin leads the Dolphins with a .357 batting average. Audrey Benderski has a 1.022 OPS to go with her team leading 24 RBIs. Isabella Kwashek holds a 3.62 ERA through 91.0 innings of work. Tatum Nessam has 37 strikeouts on the season. As a team, they have a 5.93 ERA.
ABOUT CENTRAL MICHIGAN
The Central Michigan Chippewas will host the Michigan Wolverines on Tuesday prior to the weekend. The Chippewas are 20-16 overall with a 11-6 MAC record. Central Michigan has a .320 batting average with Angela Petrovich leading the way with a .383 average. Jenna Kuzara has 81 total bases including 14 doubles, a triple and seven home runs. She also leads the Chippewas with 33 RBIs. In the circle, Mackenzie Langan has a 3.18 ERA and a 7-8 record. In 92.1 innings pitched, she has 90 strikeouts. The pitching staff as a 3.45 ERA.

- Bri Delaney has 12 doubles on the season, the sixth most in the MAC and 83rd in the NCAA.
- Nicole Allen leads the Bulls with 59 total hits this season. She's 34th in the nation in total hits, good for second in the MAC. Allen's 59 hits ranks fourth-most in a single season in program history. Reagan Terwilliger has 53 hits on the season, the third most in the MAC. They're the only Bulls in the 50-hit club.
- Reagan Terwilliger has the second-most runs scored in the conference with 48. She's averaging 1.12 runs per game, good for 47th in the NCAA.
- Bella Smithson leads the team with nine home runs this season.
- Abbey Nagel and Bella Smithson have each hit a grand slam this season. They have now hit 13 grand slams in program history.
- As a team, Buffalo is 57-of-65 on stolen bases this season. Their 57 stolen bases is the fifth-most in a single season in program history.
- Genevieve Longsdorf's three saves are 29th in the NCAA.
- On the basepaths, Reagan Terwilliger is 24-for-25 on stolen base attempts. Her .960 stolen base percentage is the best in the conference and eighth in college softball. Her 24 stolen bases are 18th in the NCAA. Emily Gorman has 18 stolen bases, good for third in the MAC.
